funding from the money raised through KowChip Bingo:

Boys and Girls Club of Simi Valley

After school & vacation activities for school age children – we provide financial aid, labor for clean up and maintenance, repairs and clean up.

Alternative Recreation Dances

Simi Valley Parks and Recreation provides monthly dances for physically and mentally challenged youths – we provide adult chaperones and the refreshments a few times throughout the year.

Simi Valley Samaritan Center

Day time drop in services for the homeless & near-homeless – we provide financial aid without restrictions and provide, cook and serve a dinner the 1^st & 3d Thursday of the month.

Rancho Simi Recreation and Parks District

We provided the money to pay for the equipment used b physically challenged youths next to the pavilion and the park on Erringer and Royal Ave.

Apollo High School –Minor Parent Program

            We have provided pre- and post- natle supplies for young mothers in this program.

American Cancer Society

We provided a team to walk 24 hours at “Relay for Life”; additional support comes through participation in” Daffodil Days” where profit from flower sales goes to research and medicines.

O.A.S.I.S

A non-denominational service by Catholic Charities – w ehave provided drivers who deliver non-perishable foods & produce to seniors who are termed “shut in”.

Pediatric Trauma Prevention

Various programs aimed at prevention of head injuries in youths. We have sponsored “Bicycle Safety Rode”, where youths have given safety instruction and provided helmets &pads. Separately, we have members who make/donate dolls for traumatized children at Simi Valley Adventist Hospital.
